Don't see one of these driving around everyday

First time I've seen one of these Tesla roadsters out and about.

Boy...watching him accelerate from 0-60 was a treat.

This was on the way into Boulder, CO, on the diagonal highway.

I agree. My brother lives in Eagle, CO.
Gorgeous country up there.

We flew back from spring break along 24, 50 and 69 down into the Raton area. Beautiful views all the way.

Then we take a left over the flat (good for nothing but chasing Antelope) region called the Texas Panhandle.

I personally know some of the guys that formed NEDRA, the National Electric Drag Racing Association, back in the mid 90's, and actually got it sanctioned as part of the NHRA - had their own section in the rule book.

John Wayland, who lives out in Portland, was asked one time by a onlooker what kind of range he got out of the batteries in his drag car.

His reply - "At least a quarter mile!"

They are pretty neat looking. I see them around here every once in awhile, and a dealer is just down the road from me.

I have seen a couple around here.

Those mountains are far cooler though.
