Thats what you get for owning a mac! :D

I've been running Win7 64-bit on a multitude of computers since it came out, and none have had any issues at all. At work we deal with hundreds of them, I have yet to see a Win7 PC with any issues or needing a reformat etc...

I beat on my Win7 box at work all day, and then I come home and beat on this one, and I've never had it crash. My one at work has been on for probably 2.5-3 months with no reboot.....

Win7 > Mac.

I like reformatting every once in a while. It's like taking a nice dump after a really bad meal... you feel so cleansed!

Been running a Windows Server OS on my desktops since NT 4.0, never had a crash not caused by bad hardware/drivers or overclocking. All the cool graphical stuff can be enabled in the server editions, so most people can't even tell that I'm running Server 2008 R2 and not Windows 7... Laptop gets Win 7, which has been very stable as well.

x2. I was converted to the Mac side after becoming fed up with XP/Vista but now that Win7 is out it's a whole new game! My main computer has become a 6 year old Dell laptop...(1.6GHZ P-M,1GB RAM,40GB HDD, 32MB Video) and it runs faster than Leopard. Plus I don't have to worry about expensive hardware. I've got three carcasses of this laptop laying around for spare parts. Win7 is truly amazing!!!!!!!

Yeah Im running it on my 4 year old high school laptop(we get them in our school and I intern with the tech guys) and with 2 gigs of ram i bought it is so fast for a old D620 lol. I can't wait to get my nice college laptop in a few months though :D

I have Win7 running on an older compaq laptop with a single core 1.6 Pentium M CPU, a Radeon Mobility 9600 Graphics chip, and only 768MB of ram, and it is quite quick....she does everything on it without any issues. My next experiment will be loading it onto my PIII 933mhz garage PC with 512 ram....and I bet it will be fine. It is amazingly adaptable to older hardware.
