Computer Question
Every time i click on a desktop icon the page opens too small. I must click Maximize. I thought that if i did that and then clicked Close it would remember. But that is not the case.
|
hmm.. Try maximizing it manually by dragging from the bottom right corner of the screen and pulling the window outwards.. it should remember then. Also try double clicking the top of the window.
|
Go to the properties of the shortcut icon, choose "maximized" in the Run: drop down box
Problem solved. |

So what OS do you have? Not that I know the answer (I care little about UI stuff), but it does matter.

Am i missing a setting some whear?

I would guess that you are, but I can't tell you what it is.
Can you run Vista without a GUI? That would fix everything. |

Yea, the GUI is what most people think of as "Windows," but it's not.
Server 2008 can be run without the GUI, for example. Since there are definitely similarities between Vista and 2008, I was wondering if it was possible. |
Well, I can answer my own question. The option is called "Server Core" and it is available in Server 2008 x86 and x64. For 2008 R2, it is available only for x64.
Looks cool, but no mention of any support for client OS. |
