Buying a house today

I'm closing on my new house this afternoon. Rennovations will begin tomorrow.

Hopefully, that one car garage can be enlarged to hold two Benzes . . .

I'm looking forward to being able to have some GTGs at my place in a few months.

Everything should go quickly. I warned my lawyer that he might need a crowbar when it comes time to pry that check out of my hand . . . .

HA!!

A big check today and renovation work tomorrow? Sounds like a recipe for some buyer's remorse. Stay positive and focus on the finish line.

I'm pretty sure the rennovations will be primarily fun stuff, things that show and give you that feeling of satisfaction. I've had enough structural, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical crap to fix in houses and years gone past. This should be a lot of fun.

Once I have things well in hand, I'm having a GTG, so keep watching this space and keep your calendar clear for June.

Congrats! Yeah, a detached garage is awesome.

Congratulations! Always an exciting event. Hope all the potential closing surprises either did pop up, or if they do, they're in your favor!

Congrats on a fine purchase sir!! Looks like you could even fit a carport next to that garage, less grass to grow, more room for Deutschland's finest!

...and no "Homeowner's Association" hopefully!

Congrats Dee8go! Now you will have to divide your time between tinkering with the Benzes and the house!! Make sure you keep the fridge well stocked!

Don't forget to wire that garage for a 210V compressor. Now's the time to do it if you havent already gotten a *****in' compressor.

I see they've taken the crime scene tape down. Did they get the inside cleaned up?
