Depresion glass

We got a bunch of depression glass from my mother in law. Noe of the family needs/wants to keep it. Any ideas of where/who/what to look for in selling it? We would like to get it appraised but none of us have any idea where to really start as far as finding a reputable person. We live in the DFW area.

Thanks

No idea how much it is worth. We are trying to get a handle on the value. Hence the original post

My good sir, I take offense to that statement. The wife and I have been dealing in antiques for 25 years, we always pay a fair market value on the antiques we buy.

Just do an ebay search on completed similar items and see what they bring. Simple enough?

You can do a Google and find out the exact reason why, but I'm sure it's some reference to The Great Depression.

As far as value, I've eBayed a lot and always find the best route is to do an advanced search on the item your are interested in selling and using similar pieces selling prices. Pay attention to unsold pieces as well. If a similar piece was a no sale for only a few bucks, best bet to dump it is St Vinnies or Good Will.
Or try selling it as a lot on Craigslist.
