How old are the matchbox cars? Made in England? "Superfast' were made to compete w/HotWheels. Older ones have solid wheels...

My boys and I do HO scale trains and slot cars- an old friend gave me back the slot cars I had in the 70's and then I found out that there are level crossings made for HO trains and slot car track. Its a nice way for the boys to see what happens when you try to out race the freight to the crossing.

I personally collect lionel so the N is of no use to me. the hot wheels / matchbox arnt super old id say the oldest date on the bottom i saw was 1976 but from what the nice people at google tell me that just means that "model" has been produced since then not when they were made

I always wanted to put together an xmas display. I like the n gauge stuff but have never owned any. I might be interested if the package price is reasonable

I love N gauge railroad stuff. When my son was little, I gave him a set for Christmas one year and we spent the next year building a layout for it with mountains, rivers, bridges, and all the little houses and buildings to go along with it.

I remember there was also a Z gauge in model railroading. The whole layout including scenery all fit into a brief case.

someday I want to get back into this. Somewhere in boxes are my HO and N scale trains, my dad and I got into G scale when I was younger and he really took off with it.

I have N gauge Minitrix sets (from Germany, yes :) ) back in my home country that I left when I migrated.

I'd love to create another set but I don't have the space for these. The sets I have are sets A, B and C from Minitrix plus a various assortment of additional engines and cars.

I loved building the scenery and little buildings for the layout. I have no idea what became of all that stuff. My grandfather taught me a lot about trains. He was REALLY into it and had them running all over his basement. His layout was written up in Model Railroader magazine at some point.

would you like to get back into it? i want to sell the stuff i have as its of no use to me
