Or you can get an iPad. It doesn't support flash and there hasn't been any malware written for it.......yet. On mine now. Fun little toy.

current build of Avast is getting the ravest reviews from cnet, but if you already have AVG, there is not a big enough difference to trouble yourself with changing, unless you are so inclined

I have found this to not be the case.
I have tried multiple times and different ways to get rid of it.
There is still some of that crap that I cannot remove.
When you go into programs and uninstall, it takes a while, then when you hit the button to finish the uninstall, it freakin' reinstalls. So I had to manually delete each and every entry. That took a very long time and as mentioned, some cannot be deleted.

Just downloaded Avast FREE and it tells me that it will expire in 30 days?????????.

You have to register it. It is free. Avast will send you a key in your email. Just copy and paste it.

I have windows defender running, simply because it is part of Win7. I do have Malwarebytes installed, and run a scan every once in a long while for the heck of it, but it never finds anything.

No "real antivirus" software though, it is unnecessary. Everything risky I do in a virtual machine, can always blow those away. :D ;)
