Corvette tail lights for sale

Ahh yes, the joys of drinking and driving a fast car beyond the capacity
that the booze has given you.

That pic you saw of the motorcyclist was a fake, someone had good photoshop skills.

Is that a black tarp prepared in the right side of the photo? Looks like the driver has been removed already, but to where?

I wanted to add that when I lived around Puget Sound this was a some what common occurance. People would follow tail lights up foggy mountain passes to stay in lane. Every once in a while they would follow the tail lights into parked tractor/trailer while at highway speed.

If you look closely (Why?) at the rear of the trailer, the "ram-bar" that recently was mandated to be moved LOWER to the ground and was intended to STOP A VEHICLE FROM REACHING AS FAR FORWARD AS THIS CORVETTE DID, didn't really have the desired effect.

To clarify Hattie's comment, it isn't so much that the driver was turned into spam as he was sliced/diced into a few pieces. That "mark" across his waist isn't from the seat-belt...it's the "demarcation line" separating his upper torso from the lower torso. What's the limit on body-bags per person in a wreck like this? Two? Three?

BTW: Notice the air-bag hanging to the left of the wheel? At least THAT worked as it was designed to...it inflated...for all the good it did...

If they were mandated to put the axles at the very rear of a semi-trailer, cars would not go under them.

Why are the axles so far forward? The tractor axles are surely capable of holding half the load; I do occasionally see trailers with the axles at the rear.

There is a quite distinct skid mark. It's not lined up with the rear tire, but I presume that the car was coming into the trailer at a bit of an angle.

Still doesn't look like a skid mark from the Vette.

Although could be from the tractor trailer after the collision occurred he locked them up and headed for the shoulder not knowing what happened, just felt a jolt.
