Does anyone here have NO A/C?

And how long have you been A/C-less?

This is my 4th summer sans A/C.

I'm getting used to it. I carefully pick my driving routes to avoid getting stuck in traffic. It ain't so bad.

Besides my old Suburban I never had working AC in any car I've owned, it never bothered me. But I will do a recharge soon for my current car; the babes are starting to complain...

I've been driving around Phoenix for about a month without it, including a few 105 -107 afternoons. It was pretty easy to do without it in Honolulu, but I guess it's time to get it fixed . . .

No AC in the Corvette for now. It's kind of a heat pit with the engine and exhaust running so close to the driving compartment. I just drive the MB most of the time any way.

I have none. Most of the time I've lived in Phoenix I have had none. Sucks.

Didn't have AC for about two years with my W123. Then I upgraded to the SDL and used the AC during the stupid hot summer here in FL. Same goes for the cabriolet. If its cool and not scorching hot I put the top down.

I also have yet to get tinted windows on my cars. But I think I will get them on the cabriolet, it could really use them.

This is the first year I've ever had AC... even when I was a kid we only had AC in my dads truck, which we didn't really use as the family car. My moms Toyota was AC-less. The SD had AC... about 10 years ago, but again my dad never used it as the family car.

I bought the Dakota in January with the knowledge that this would be my first year with AC... its pretty amazing!!!!! since I'm doing so much to the SD I think AC may be on the list of things to repair.

My service truck has been off and on since December. The past two weeks it hasn't worked.

Working on heavy equipment in 100 + temps then jumping into a 136* truck and driving 3 hrs makes for a long day .

On a positive side hand gestures are easily delivered and recognized.

mines cooking me. I had it for 2 weeks last year but the compressor bolt that holds the seal on the two lines vibrated out. i tried to recharge it but got no high pressure on the high side so I think the new compressor ate it. bummer getting to work sweaty, its 80 in the morning. Im going to buy the next cheap recycle machine I see and clean it all out and charge it again. I liked it for the 2 weeks it worked, killed my mpgs though

my excursion has the coldest air ive ever seen, but thats the wifes car now...... FL sucks with no AC, shes pestering me to get rid of the coupe but I am stubborn

I'm slowly going through all of mine. I converted my 560SEL back to R12 as the R134 was becoming less effective in the Texas heat. I got the A/C working in my 560SEC. Last year I got the a/c working on my 500SLC and my 500SL.

My 6.9 has fantastic A/C and it's running R134 so I leave it well alone.

This is my second summer without AC. Personally I don't need it as the summers don't get hot enough here on Lake Erie and up in Ithaca.

I still want to fix it though. Wrenching is a hobby of mine, albeit an expensive one. If I had $600 I would gladly buy the parts and fix it up.

I'm going to Los Angeles in the spring. I plan on fixing it for fun when the money comes up. That might be a winter project

My 240D has great working AC. It's on 134 at the moment, but I'm planning on converting back once I fix the slow leaks. Leaks down to 1lb in the system in 4 months.

Did have it for a while but the summers were mild and I really didn't go anywhere. Last year I had it recharged with R12 and its been amazing ever since.

Very slowly getting mt A/C going in the TD.. My SD blew last year, I think it got a r-134a over charge. It's been so humid out I only work on the TD for a couple hours a day. I hope to finish it tomorrow. A/C cars are sweet.
