Recommendations for an automotive voltmeter?
My mechanic has this neat voltmeter he uses to check out the electrical system on cars. It's got a probe, LED lights to help find wires in dark areas, and a lighted LCD digital readout. It'll even deliver electricity to a component to see whether the fault lies in the wiring or in the component. I've been looking online and I can't find a voltmeter like his that does all of the above. It's too late to call him and ask him where he got his, but I figure the network of DIYers here may know where I can find one. It's quite nifty.

Probably a Power Probe 2. I have one and it works good in some places. It hooks to the car battery, and then can supply power, ground, detect power and ground and has a digital volt meter. Do a Google search on Power Probe 2 and see if that is what you are talking about.
