is there a way to stop word links in articles?
Is there a way to stop the popups that appear when I mouse over hypertexted words or phrases on website articles?
A wrinkle cream ad from the word document? Not even the dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding can make that connection. Thanks, Sixto 87 300D |

Advertisers pay a lot of money for keyword highlighting. I'd bet there is a way to disable the code within Java, but not without affecting other non-ad web stuff. I just move my mouse very carefully...reminds me of one of these old games:

Sorry but this is the answer to your question. If you open the page and RIGHT click one of the sub menu is VIEW PAGE SOURCE, if you click on it you can see the whole page code but you can't change it.

I'm running Firefox, usually with the Adblock Plus extension enabled. I've attached a capture showing how the same page looks to me.

You can also use an add on called noscript in Firefox that will allow you to choose which website and which affiliated URL you want to see...
