Need some feedback'
I received a letter from Mercedes stating that they are performing a test program designed to help obtain information regarding fuel economy, emissions research and vehicle performance.
What Mercedes will do is:
Pick-up and Drop off by flatbed transport
Use of 2010/2011 Loaner - with a full tank of fuel and unlimited mileage
Washed vehicle with full fuel upon return
$500.00 American Express gift card
The test is will be to drive the vehicle (in a in-door controlled test chamber) for approximately 100-200 miles and should take approximately 3-4 weeks.
Does anyone have any experience with such a program?
As a sidebar a number of years ago my cars were selected to be "reviewed" by Mercedes. They went over them with a fine tooth comb and at the provided me a list of everything that was needed. They performed all of the work/parts absolutely free-- I mean they measured how long it would take the windows to go up and down, how far the seats would recline-- they even scoped the engine-- I was there when they did this at it took approximately 4 hours to complete --
