Sigh. Once again, Spain will break my heart. They will choke and die with some of the greatest football talent in the world.

I think that whole "Spanish Armada" thing really messed up their psyche.

Uruguay seems a beatable team for the Dutch, especially since their striker Suarez and two other key players are suspended for the match. I'm not so sure about the Germans defeating Spain: the Spanish are an awesome group.

I couldn't care less about football but it was rather amusing to be at the Biggin Hill Air Show which was heavily weighted towards the Battle of Britain with half the crowd watching the Hurricanes and Spitfires chasing a couple of Messerschmitts around the sky and the other half looking in increasing dismay at the giant view screen behind us as they went down to Germany 4 - 2 or whatever it was.
