umm, let's not forget, assualt rifles, real assault rifles are always select fire. either single & full auto or single & burst. What the nimrods in the press call assault rifles are not. Since they look scary to the unititiated, therefore they must be deadlier. he could have the same effect with any number of self loading rifles. he would have (if he used a rifle at all) just had to reload a bit more, which in itself is not an issue if you are the only person with a gun.
