We had a jet boat in the harbor a couple years ago(Drambuie On Ice), sounded like a 747 taking off when he throttled up, threw a rooster tail 300ft long behind him.

The old farts at the yacht club used to hate it, naturaly I loved it.

You'd for sure fit in around here, Hatt.

Pretty cool boat.

I wonder what all the water pumping out the sides is from.
Oil and Transmission coolers, maybe?

Or could it actually take on that much water when not underway?

Are those engines cooled? I wonder if they have water jackets on certain parts since they don't get any airflow over them in a boat?

If not those are for the gear box's and oil, the gear box's in those things make a lot of heat.

They get planty of airflow through them for sure.

I can’t see a need for water jackets on any part of the engine itself.
Must be oil and trans coolers.
