1) It May Prevent Osteoporosis
2) It May Lower Risk of Heart Disease
3) Hops May Lower Cholesterol
4) It's a Brain Bev
5) It Can Keep You Hydrated

I'm currently drinking a Margarita; not sure about the osteoporisis thing, but my heart sure thanks me.

Yeah sure. "moderate" consumption. 2 beers a day. since when is 2 beers a day moderate? 2 beers a day is teetotaling. 4-6 is moderate by any reasonable standard. 2 beers. 2 beers is a warmup, getting the palate ready for the real drinking. Bah! Anything worth doing is worth over-doing.

I was trying to keep this a secret. I have known the good effects of beer for many years. What most people that have met me in person don't know is that I am older than they think, last month, I turned 74 yo.

The article only addresses the physical benefits of beer. The mental benefits are equally impressive if not more so.
I agree with the assessment of what "moderate" beer consumption is. Heck, when I was in college, moderate beer consumption meant you didn't throw up til the next day.

I'm in my office, and I laughed so hard at this one that the guy in the office next to me had to come over to see what was so funny.
