Where to find a history of a value of a car...
Hello there!
I am wondering if anyone knows of a reputable place to check for the value of a car against time. Some great value research sites are Nada.com, KBB.com, and Edmunds.com, but all of these websites appear to only give the current present day value. Is there anyway to track the value of a car from the date of creation (i.e. on a dealer's lot) to present day? I can get the MSRP very easily and the current value, just looking to fill in the gaps.... If all else fails, I can interpolate the values in between, but it will be very obvious and inaccurate.

The first thing - in fact the first chap that comes to mind is a pretty on the ball UK journalist called "Honest John" you can find him on:-
http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/ Send him an email (if you're polite and to the point you'll get a quick answer) Otherwise have a look at other car magazine sites such as Autocar.co.uk In the UK there is also Parker's Price guide. You may find there are equivalents in the US as well - sorry I only have European information here. Just another thought - what about that radio programme (in the US) Car Talk?
