BOTV presents “BHO Man of the Sheople!”

The Barrack Obama Television Network’s completely unbiased and independent GE/NBC/CNBC subsidiary is going to give the American public what it wants, needs, and deserves!

The President of the United States in a Town Hall Meeting listening to the concerns and addressing the American Everyman for all the world to see.

Except it will be completely scripted, with all questions screened and professionally written answers preloaded into TOTUS, the audience will be selected from the invitation only ranks of the Princeton Alumni Club, and in will all take place in that most All American of All American towns , you guessed it Washington DC!

And that’s how The Dear Leader will appear to genuinely “capture the sentiment of the nation ahead of the mid-term elections”!

This reminds me of Bush who used to do the exact same thing. Protesters were also kept at a two mile distance since Bush did not think that naughty old First Amendment should be something he had to deal with.

I thought it was odd that no Republican objected to Bush doing this.

I guess we can all assume that you must not disagree with Bush on this then as you haven't expressed any objection to Hobama doing it now!

Was there a cable network doing for Bush what CNBC/NBC is now doing for Obama?

Did Fox host a "Town Hall" media event for GW Bush and select the audience for it, and provide Bush the questions in advance?

Forget the protestors:

Unlike President GW Bush, your boy Hussein dares not show his face to any audience but union labor doing his daily repeat of inane Marxist-style campaign speeches.

I'd love to see the clown try to give ANY open air speech open to the public ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY! That would be the funniest sight of this century! Hussein would get booed off any stage in the country, and he's only into the pResidency 1.5 years...... LOL!

Effective unemployment approaching 20% in America. For the math-challenged, 1 out of 5 people are unemployed or have a friggin' partime job and are looking for a job.

So much for that "Hope and Change" thingy working out.

Ex 4th Reich leader

Gee-Dubb, really needs to be at the airport greeting the returning U.S. military troops who served under his debacle.

No. We are just not surprised that it is happening. Pols never want to risk talking to people unscripted. They end up sounding like Palin. Reagan, Clinton, Bush and Obama all do it. Why are you surpprised?

I don't mean to belittle your ability to comprehend but the issue is not that the any politician wishes to or even attempts to control his/her message and/or exposure; the issue is that the media in this case is CNBC/GE are who is responsible for staging the event and selecting through invitation the audience members based on their affiliation with the Princeton Alumni Club and the questions of the selected audience, is complicit in it.

That's why I posed the question as to whether there is any evidence that a media outlet staged such an event under similar circumstances for and with GW Bush.

The President has given several speeches that were open to the public. No screening or tickets needed.

And yes, there were protesters. The President let them scream what they wanted and then addressed their concerns.

Can anyone name any instance where Bush did that?

Speaking of insane republicans, what's the deal with all these teabaggers beating out real republicans for various nominations? I thought the republican leadership would have been smart enough to ship these folks back to the trailer park long before the election. I don't have a dog in this fight, but these elections may actually be entertaining enough to watch.

I am beginning to understand your question about did any media outlet do this for G. W. Bush.

The only one I can remember is Rush Limbaugh. Bush called in one day and wanted to speak and Rush just let him carry on and on and on. He just turned the show over to him.

Could it be that Fox is upset that they did not think of this when Bush was in office?
