Think pre-owned Land Rover.

Buying the right model at the right time and price (after it depreciates) can be very satisfying.

If it snowed here (LOL) I'd get another 4X4 for winter use, as I had and kept in Nebraska.

Over and over.
X 2

For some reason(s) MB aging AWD vehicles just do not fare too well in the drivetrain dept.

geez, what'd he ever do to you??

Suggesting a used English vehicle, of any sort, is just downright unfriendly, esp Rovers....

Certainly a lot of truck for the money, but I have yet to hear or read anything good about them in terms of reliability. I've driven a multitude of LR's and RR's, (much prefer the RR) and like them, but would never own one.

Way above my skill-set. I'll pass on this one.
