Computer Question

How can i delete all info from a PNY flash drive?

Toss it in a fire then throw it in a blender. Or, if you want to use it again, use a erasing tool program for drives.

Or if you know someone who has a Mac, they can use the "Disk Utility" application they have to do a secure erase.

If you get an old copy of Zone Alarm from someone, you can load it temporarily, then use the series 7 wipe on the disk. It's used by DoD to clean things.
You may have to reformat after, it really cleans

Search for "Wipe Drive" there are a number of freeware utilities.

Wiping a flash drive is not the same as wiping a disk.

When you overwrite on a disk, the contents of a sector are replaced. On flash, the controller remaps the sectors, and without taking the thing apart and bypassing the controller, you cannot know whether private information remains.

Also, a secure erase will shorten the lifetime of the flash memory. Just erase it through Explorer (remember to empty the trash) and reuse it. Or destroy it. There is no real middle ground.
