What? Cherry Garcia and Phish Food Isn't "Natural?"
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Agrees to Drop "All-Natural" Claim
In an abrupt about-turn, Ben & Jerry's has agreed to remove the term from its product descriptions. In a letter to the CSPI, the ice-cream company's chief executive, Jostein Solheim, said that although he believed "reasonable customers" would still consider Ben & Jerry's food to be natural, he did not want any further questions over the issue. |

I switched to Haagen Dazs years ago when my Phish Phood was 50% marshmallow fluff.

All you gotta do is read the label to know their claim has always been BS. Breyer's Original Ice Cream is much closer to all natural, though it does contain Tara gum as a thickener. Breyer's doesn't have all the cutesy flavors, but their ice cream has always been superior as far as I'm concerned. Melt a bowl of B and J's, it melts into a sticky gelatinous mass, just like cheap ice cream. Melt a bowl of Breyer's Original and you get drinkable cream, like homemade ice cream. Hagen Daz, which has a meaninless name by the way, is also way overrated.
