NASA road racer STR2 (IIRC).
I was coming back from our last autocross of the season today and stopped by Putnam park speedway to watch the NASA road racers run. They had some cars which look a lot like an old indy roadster and sound as if powered by Cosworth. Anybody Know what they are and what engine they are running?

You would think if they are NASA, they would be powered by some super hi tech thing with more horse power than Kentucky & able to run on the smell of an oily rag.
