I bet my Republican friend lunch....
That the dems would retain majority in the house.
He asked why and I said i think the polls are not very accurate now because they call people who have land lines and few of the younger folks have them. So anybody have thoughts on this?

I originally suggested a quarter, my normal bet with friends, but he suggested lunch. I guess he thinks he as a sure bet.

I voted early, so just wake me when it's over.
D's had control of Congress for 40 years before they pissed off enough people to lose it. Then it took the R's 10 years to do the same. Now the D's look ready to lose it again after only 4 years. Keeps going like this, we'll end up like pre-war France or post-war Italy with the "government of the month" club.
