Suprised to see no-one hatin on Nancy Pelosi today here. No-matter if she did run her inner sanctum in the house the way she did-- which seems to be why she had so many enemies in the inside. As far as everyday people, i'll say it again- Wether you approved of her or lothed her, She did and does care about the well being of each and every one of you.

No one can honestly say that about her replacement-That's for sure.

I agree, although I would not refer to her in the past tense. A friend of mine has worked on the Republican side of the House for about 25 years. She speaks well of Speaker Pelosi. Says that she really listens to fellow members of Congress, even the knuckleheads, and considers their views. She has done a great job moving difficult legislation through the House, especially on health care, which is one reason this Congress has been so productive. She is one of many fine public servants on the Hill.

It's going to be interesting to see Her Botoxness flying back to SFO on her broom.....
