Homeplug, anyone
Does anyone have any experience with 'Homeplug' networking technology ?
WiFi range is limited in my house, and Homeplug seems much easier to install than adding extra UTP-cables. Best Regards, V.

Not personally but several colleagues have had to resort to it as they live in steel reinforced buildings - they've suffered from a sort of Faraday cage effect which has adversely influenced their wireless. They say it is really good - but I don't think it is as fast (I mean connection speed) as hard wiring with UTP

No wireless technology will ever be as fast as the a UTP based network.
I have 3 wireless AP's in my house right now. I actually dont think the one work but its there still lol

Yes, I actually use it in my home to provide an internet connection to a second wireless access point in my house so that the entire home is covered (including the outdoor patio etc).
Basically what it does is that it sends a high frequency signal over the existing electrical wiring in the house. It works, at about 75mbps, which for all intensive purposes is fast enough for all but the fastest of commercially available home broadband connections. One thing to note. Both powerline adapters need to be plugged directly into wall outlets. I was having intermittent connectivity issues having one plugged into a power strip / surge protector - Mostly because of the filtering used there. Some of the adapters provide a "pass through" electrical outlet on them so that you can still use the outlet. If you need any help or have any questions feel free to PM me. George
