Apparently there is a measurable increase in TV watching the week after the "Fall Back" due to DST.

Thanks for the heads-up, Aqua!

Everything's rolled back at about 8 pm last night - except for the dashboard clock and the digital alarm clock out in the coach. And I just heard what sounds like a big cat prowling about on the back porch, so I'm not going out tonight.

*Remember to change-out the battery-powered smoke alarms. My home is hard-wired with smoke alarms - now 34 years old! Have no idea whether they are functioning properly?? I don't smoke, so I can't check 'em (two of them) without using another means to check 'em.

My coach actually has three sensors in it! One is at floor level to detect propane gas - and the coach is hard-wired in that one with a green light to show it is powered/working. The other two (one for smoke, and the other other for carebonmonoxide I think) are affixed to the ceiling of the coach and both these are powered by disposable batteries.

Change 'em ALL out!

Actually, it's daylight saving (no 's' at the end) time. The same sort of thing as 'driver license'. And there must be other similar examples. I wonder why it's not said correctly in common usage?

I was just talking about that with a fellow Seabee who happens to be from Arizona. Afghanistan doesn't observe daylight saving time either. So, Arizona and Afghanistan are ahead of 49 states, at least in one aspect.

One of the things we DONT need to save here in Az. is daylight! Heck, most of the time we're trying to avoid the sun!
