Question Keurig B70 Coffee Maker Question

I know in the grand scheme of things this ranks pretty low, but the value of morning coffee can't be ignored!

We've got the aforementioned coffee maker here at work. At first I though it was ridiculous and seemed awful wasteful but with 15 coffee drinkers narrowed down to 6 different choices, one cup at a time, it works out pretty well. The timer is set for it to be on from 6:45am-5:00pm. Being the first one in every morning I make the first cup of the day, four size choices and I choose #3. The issue is that the first cup NEVER brews a full cup. In fact it doesn't appear to even be a "full cup" on the smallest setting. My routine now includes pressing the button to brew another #1 with the same K-cup to fill the mug up the rest of the way.

A Google search brings up many half-cup issues but they all seem to be a constant problem. Our issue only occurs with that first brew of the day, it works fine after that until it powers down then powers up again the next morning. Any thoughts?

I have a different model but I used to have the same problem with the machine not brewing a full cup right after power up. I just leave mine on all the time.

We have it power down just as a part of our energy conservation plan/policy (obviously it's not a big consumer). It's really not a big deal, I just have it brew another teacup full into the mug using the same K-cup. I'm just hoping for that "silver bullet" to save me from such annoyance!
