I'll be visiting the parents and overflowing with homecooked Italian food and Irish whiskey! Can't be sure about not burning anything down as my Dad will be manning the BBQ, but I've got the safe driving thing covered with my new indentured chauffeur (my recently licensed 16 year old son). Good times to all!

My insurance is current, the roads are suppose to be icy this morning, but at 0800, I'm heading out to spend the day "jazzing up" the locals by making gallons and gallons of java at the local City-Wide Annual T-day Meal...running from about 1030-1400.

Then it over to the "ex's" place for some turkeyloaf, smashed spuds in butter and milk, ovenized biscuits highly buttered, corn from a can (not creamed) and pumpkin and cherry pie, squirted with canned cream.

Then, I leave before anyone gets into trouble and head home...

Then Friday thru 'til Monday is anybodys' guess as to what I'll be doing with myself.

I'm preparing my belly for the gastronomic onslaught and have been doing liver stretches all morning. The turkey #1 will be fried on the safety of the lawn next to the patio, well away from kids and flammables. Also looking forward to 9 or so hours of NFL in the background (except I will be watching the Pats & Lions game in it's entirety).

I'm making a pot of dirty rice, on my 2nd pot of coffee, on-call at the funeral home but hopin' and prayin' I don't have to go in. I don't expect to see or talk to another live human today, unless I have to go to work.

Wife and kids are at the in-laws in Arkansas.

I have to work Friday, Saturday and a half day Sunday, so this is my only shot at some downtime.
