I must be madly in love

I just spent an hour doing something I truly detest normally......the dishes. ...and I was smiling as I did them.

Today we had in the kids and grandkids, all four kids and their spousal units and or significant others and the eleven handsome grandchildren from age one to nine, for our own family unit T day celebration.

It has been a mad house here since Thursday night when my oldest lovely daughter came in from Ohio with her family. We have had children screaming and stomping around upstairs non stop.

The lovely Mrs. W. went shopping after all the out of towners went home, with the lovely daughter #4 and the lovely DIL and I noticed a huge mess in the kitchen so decided to get busy and do it.

Doing dishes is good for some pretty powerful brownie points too.

(I need them what with buying a race car and all.)

Tom- I do the dishes often, especially when we have family over, and I think it's the least I can do since I don't cook. I have never regretted the extra time it makes available to my wife for other "activities"!

No need to apologize, your comment didn't affect my opinion of you.

I have learned in my twenty year marriage that the easiest way to put her in the mood for love making is to do the dishes.

I do the cooking and cleaning many nights of the week, it's not helping me much, but I get my time in there!

It was the tryptophan causing the "lightheadedness" - thereby causing you to step out of the male role and into a "nurturing" role of doing the dishes.

Eat some protein and head out to the garage and look at that racecar...you'll be doing MUCH BETTER in the morning.
