New look for my cabrio

found them on Craigslist in CT. Figured I'd buy them while on vacation up here. $280 with some VW lugs(I need to order the mbz lugs so they are all the proper length)

I kind of dig the painted look. They need to be repainted properly or stripped and polished. But I like the look, now all I need are some H&R drop springs.

The tires are 205/50/r16 Fuzion HR's with 75% tread left.

The guy I got them from was really cool. He had an M3 convertible, a 190E 16 valve, M3 sedan of the same vintage, a '56 bug in restoration stages, vw cabrio, vw dune buggy, and an older TDI for his commuter.

Looks good, but if you lowered it... better yet.

totally. I need some H&R springs or just chop a coil off these... chop not torch.. torched springs are bad news.

I like the dark wheels, brake dust.. what brake dust.. lol

Also we'll see how these tires are. Tires are tires to me unless its for a race car and these will do until they wear out.

Looks good to me. When you're done with those tires I'd go up a size or two, they look tiny in those wheel wells.

the problem is too much fender to wheel gap. The car will be lowered accordingly

Don't take this personal, but I think those are the least attractive wheels Mercedes ever used.

I much prefer the stock 8 holers.

Steel wheel lugbolts are the correct length for the CLK wheels.

I love those rims.

There was a 124 4-matic wagon on e-Bay with those rims, looked great!

I like those wheels, but think painted that color they almost look like steel wheels that need a hub cap.

Strip 'em down and polish.

uuuuuugly.

the only wheels I'd put on a W124 cabriolet other than the stock 8 holers are AMG monoblocks.
