All my dogs who died have been cremated. When I die, I want to be cremated and their ashes put in with mine. Between the wife and I, last person alive takes care of that and gets put in the same big bowl.
If it came down to saving a stranger or a dog, the dog wins every time. The stranger probably would turn on me but I doubt the dog will
