Talking Am I Dead or Alive !

They're writhing to find out.
In the e-mail box today

Re: Payment Notification:

We are writhing to know if it'strue that you are DEAD? Because we received a notification from one MR.GERSHON SHAPIRO of USA stating that you are DEAD and that you havegiving him the right to claim your funds. He stated you died on a CARaccident. He has been calling us regarding this issue, but we cannotproceed with him until we confirm this by not hearing from you after7days. Be advised that we
have made all arrangements for you to receive and confirm your funds without anymore stress, and without any further delays.

All we need to confirm now is your been DEAD Or still Alive. Because this
MAN'S message brought shock to our minds. And we just can't proceed with
himuntil we confirm if this is a reality OR not But if it happened we didnot hear from you after 7days, then we say: MAY YOUR SOUL REST INPERFECT PEACE"

YOUR JOY AND SUCCESS REMAINS OUR GOAL.

May the peace of the Lord be with you wherever you may be now.
Your Faitfully,
Mrs Farida Waziri

Hmmmm, I wonder if that morning long ago when I "woke up" in the Cardiac ICU in Philly and found the bed surrounded with docs & nurses and a priest counts as being dead.

Send them an email personally confirming you are dead.

While you are at it, send them an email advising them they have been named as beneficiary to your estate. For a "process handling fee" of XX dollars, payable by check, they can assume the lease on your apartment. The address of which is:

40°42′20″N 73°59′47″W / 40.70569°N 73.99639°W

I don't know which is more pitiful - that there are people spending the time to write and send out these lame attempts at scams - or the fact that there are people out there stupid enough to believe them - they must work to some extent, otherwise the con artists behind them would have long moved on to more profitable venues.

They only need one bite to make it worth sending out hundreds of thousands of emails

The stupid people. The writers are doing some silly trick that doesn't cost much and MIGHT gain something. Even 1 responder who sends money will pay for the cost.

That is a ripoff. The going price is $700. Tell you what. Because I consider you a friend, I am going to give you the "family discount".

Vince Schlomi Pitch: This item will be yours for $500. But wait. If you order now, because you know we can't do this all day, you will get not 1 batch of chemicals but 2 batches. You just pay shipping and handling.

One click and out go thousands at a time, there are services out on the interwebs that specialize in mass emailing for very cheap. As far as Lankenau I'd rather not have to find out! Actually I've been pretty fortunate so far since I mvoed down here, haven't had any cause for hospitalization (thank goodness, with a high deductible HI plan...) although I've accompanied several people to bryn mawr hospital for alcohol related injuries the past few years you'd think after the first time getting hurt you wouldn't ride a keg down a double flight of stairs right?

How's the keg (and it's bung-hole) doing?
