Chicago/IL Politicians - Gotta Love them

Well the Cook County Accessor Joe Berios was recently elected, he is also head of the Cook County Democratic Party.
First thing he did was hire his son and daughter to his office, note the were already on the county payroll and effectively (if that word can be used to a nepotism hire) doing the same job.
He has also been referenced by the federal watchdog overseeing patronage hiring for 27 violations, he was elected less than 2 months ago.

OK but here's the good one.
Remember now he is the accessor, he controls what your property is worth for tax purposes.
The Illinois Senate as part of their 'Ethics Reform' bill (heavily watered down, mostly show, nothing major really) included a limit of a 1500 contribution from any business etc, ie law firm, that does business appealing tax acessments.
So a friend of Joe's sets up a PAC, collects in weeks 165,000 from those very type of firms and guess what !!!
Donates it to the Berios campaign fund !!!

If these A**es would spend more time doing their job, and less figuring out ways to get around the rules we might have a decent government, MIGHT.

As a Democrat in Chicago the Bears have a better chance of winning this years Superbowl, than him getting the ax.

Second he is elected and our great 'Ethics Bill' limits impeachment to the Gov only.
