Another vehicle "street legal" class
 

I am of the opinion that there should a "light weight" classification (other than motorcycles) for vehicles that can be used on non interstate type highways and interstates too if they have the speed capability. I have attached a link to the type of vehicle I have in mind. I would think they would get good mileage, especially the diesel ones. These things are pretty fun type rides in my opinion.

They are a cross between a farm 4 wheeler & a tractor. No place on the road !

ah but they are,at least here in iowa.IF you are a "farmer"you can drive these on the roads to and from your fields etc.they are considered a farm vehicle just like a tractor.just don't go driving into town.

I agree, in OK, a person can drive electric golf cart like vehicles on the road, and those micro vehicles you see in other parts of the world are legal here too.

no more dangerous than a motorcycle, and if someone is ddriving that instead of a pickup, lots of energy savings.

In AZ, if it has brake lights, turn signals and rear view mirrors it's street legal providing it has the speed capacity. I see quads on county roads all the time.

I wish they'd do that for roads under 30 mph - I'd love to drive my Mule around the hood legally. I'd never leave the neighborhood with it, but it would make a great runabout - going down the street to friend's houses, kids to school, kids to sport games, etc. The golf cart guys get to do it in my neighborhood, so I can't see why a gas-powered machine shouldn't get the same treatment.

Any way you could get a farm designation and throw a warning triangle on the back?
