Question Looking for a miniature schnauzer for our home

My wife and I would love to have a salt/pepper miniature schnauzer with uncropped ears. Just wondering if anyone here has ever adopted one and can recommend a good breeder. Northern VA area is best, but we'll shop nationwide for the right pup!!

My wife has a miniature schnauzer in Perú who is with her parents. She got him as a puppy and he's now a happy and active 12 year old!!

not that I have one but I too am searching for a black miniature schnauzer as well. A rescue would be best. In FL if possible!

In this movie they used a Wire-haired terrier but I believe the book version has him as schnauzer. Are the personalities similar? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKLCAHVKb0w

I rescued a mini from Cincinnati Schnauzer Rescue about 8 years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made. One of their "foster families" in Louisville, KY matched me up with an older male who was the perfect companion. I believe their web site has links to other rescue groups nationwide, and I would recommend them in an instant.
