Iphone Issue
I got a Used Iphone 3G after christmas for cheap. It worked great until now, Right now, There's no audio Period. all the volume controls say Headphones and even the headphones are dead... so I have a brick of a phone.
Try a reboot. Simultaneously press and hold the button at the base of the display and the silver button at the top-right of the phone until the screen goes black. Then release, and the phone should come back on (first showing the apple in the center of the screen).
did that, unfortunately still no audio
I'll try that next. It's turned off at the mo'... thanks, I'll post what happens
This may be a dumb idea, but have you paired it with a bluetooth headset?
Update, Audio is still out... and I hate blue tooth headsets. they drive me mad
well, have you gone to ilounge.com yet?
the 3G is no longer supported by apple fyi |
No, I've not tried them, What i've read online is that when this happens the phone is a brick unless you want to use an auxiliary setup Ie bluetooth, but thats not an option, oh well. time to find another cheap one I guess, maybe i'll be lucky and find a 3Gs
All I can suggest is plugging and inpluggIng a headphone jack repeatedly, otherwise you should be able to find a 3G or 3GS cheap.

3 year contract? I thought it was a 2 year and more along the lines of a $200 early termination fee.
There you go ruining my posts with facts. Typo on the year and hyperbole on the fee.
my Iphone is Pre-pay. No contracts. no mess.
