Not so secular it seems:

(AINA) -- A mob of nearly four thousand Muslims has attacked Coptic homes this evening in the village of Soul, Atfif in Helwan Governorate, 30 kilometers from Cairo, and torched the Church of St. Mina and St. George. There are conflicting reports about the whereabouts of the Church pastor Father Yosha and three deacons who were at church; some say they died in the fire and some say they are being held captive by the Muslims inside the church.

Witnesses report the mob prevented the fire brigade from entering the village. The army, which has been stationed for the last two days in the village of Bromil, 7 kilometers from Soul, initially refused to go into Soul, according to the officer in charge. When the army finally sent three tanks to the village, Muslim elders sent them away, saying that everything was "in order now."

No, but it certainly could be argued that dictatorial repression pushes political hostility into other directions.

I hit the wrong key, right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing.
There is plenty of news about what is happening in the M.E. about if you go looking. They appear to prefer stoning for ethnic cleansing.

BTW,
If you do some research on Hitlers games he had going on, you may find that he had his medical researchers looking into how Jewish brains differed from Germans. The term "geared differently" was used in some of the work. His aim was to justify what we now all know as the holocaust. Interestingly the soon to be deposed (hopefully) leader in Libya & some others still would have us believe it never happened !!

I have a sibling who is a modern history scholar. They are biting at the bit to make a post ! I have no interest in ending up like the CLK man !!

The original protests in Egypt were about the price of wheat, (food.)

Many believe that religious, Muslim zealots hijacked the uprising to gain the country politically, in order to advance their religious global pursuits.

Muslim religious clerics are reported to be in-charge in some areas of the countries of Egypt and Libya.

No not at all From previous posts I know SRJ likes pork. We even have threads about cooking it. Maybe who ever put the "Trolling" needs to explain his action!!
Trolling is defined as an inflammatory post used strictly for the purpose of irritating other members.
I note that chilcutt previously invited me to have a drink with him if ever I was in Singapore. That was not considered trolling yet this is. Please explain.

Dear Olde England is now ruled to some degree by Muslim Sharia Law.

Is this what the political minority in this country (America) really wants? Religious rule? Religious, Muslim Sharia Law as the order of the land in American jurisdictions, as in England?

It would seem to be the way we as a country are heading - from many indications given by some political leaders.

Well, I cooked-up a rasher of bacon as part of my 59 1/2 birthday celebration Saturday brunch, so I'm down with pork almost any way but tripe.
