fuel injectors

i reciently replaced my fuel injectors on my 1979 280e.eversince then i have had warm startup trouble. i never had problems with the old injectors. i ordered all the parts from *********************** and i replaced the in jectors just exactly as they came out. i ended up not using the o-rings because my old injectors didnt have them on and i couldnt figure out where they went. i also crack my valve intake hose and mickey moused it until the new one gets here. and another thing i didnt unscrew the cold start valve fuel line , could this be a reason there still might be air in the system? any help would be appreciated.

Could be. How long has the engine been running AFTER the new injectors are installed? I would say 10 mins of driving or some spirited running will burp it.

No fuel leaks? Have you checked all the injectors even the cold start one? I know some cars have them. Are you sure the injectors are good? Getting a bad one out of the box is possible. Reinstall the old ones and see if the problem goes away,.

i havent had a chance to check the cold start valve because the air hose is mickey moused glued together. so i will wait to try that untill the hose gets delivered.

I would check that and see if the air hose is an issue
