I woke up this morning about 0430 with a song in my head and I can't seem to shake it...it was a little ditty us kids use to sing in one of our music classes back in the 60s...some of the words go as follows...
"My grandfather's clock was too tall for the shelf so it stood 90 years on the floor. Dah dah dah, dah dah dah, dah dah dah dah dah dah dah, dah dah dah, dah dah dah, dah dah dah... Dah dah DAH, dah dah dah, dah dah Dah dah dah dah dah, Dah dah DAH, dah dah dah, dah dah dahhhh... But it stopped (pause) short (pause) never to go again, when the old man died." The tune I have in the head is correct...it's the words in the middle of the song that's bugging me to no end. ANYONE, FOR THE SAKE OF DOG, KNOW THE WORDS FOR THE MIDDLE OF THIS TUNE? ![]() . .
