SBARRO 450 SEL 6.9 GULLWING Coupe

Never seen a 6.9 coupe before, seventies kitsch for sure. Like there 80's version better...sort of.

I agree. Mercedes designers had it right in the first place, their designs from the seventies and eighties are almost perfect. Thought it was interesting to see a 6.9 coupe and I never had seen a custom seventies Mercedes before.

Not something I would buy, but not that bad. The rims completely ruin that eBay car. Period correct wheels and it would look halfway reasonable. I've seen a lot worse "custom" Sbarro's for sale. Not good.

It's a curiosity, but hardly even looks like a Benz. It's too overdone for my taste. That rear passenger window looks like it came off of a BMW Six Series.

This has been posted here before, it was a while ago (maybe a year?). Guess the seller got impatient trying to push $50k for it. If it wasn't for the ugly wheels, it is pretty 70s-80stastic

Sadly, there is no undo button for this poor car.

The grille/body kit are horrible. The seats look interesting. Comfy maybe too.

No engine pictures? Claiming a 6.9 necessitates engine pictures. always.

The tires don't even come close to the outer edge of the wheelwells...like they needed to be another 20-30 mm wider...and it's still an eyesore...not enough sidewall (20%????) to even consider a really "sport" style ride, let alone anything that would be considered "comfortable" if that were even achievable. The grill and front-end cladding? Looks like not a lot of thought went into its attachment and purpose...silver-plating on a paper plate.

Sorry...if it were given as a prize, I'd take the cash...and not tell anyone I won the contest.

Just because you own a welder doesn't mean you should use one.... Fishy on the 6.9 part, tach looks like a 450 tach. Can't see suspension knob and no engine pics. Wood looks 450 style too, but says it was redone. Too bad they didn't do it right.

Perfect for the ghetto crack dealer.

I liked the Architectural look of the grill from that above shot.

....not better than the stock front end though.

I think the 126 coupe is a pretty classy classic design.
