97 Chevy C2500 front hubs
I'm gearing to replace the front rotors on a 97 Suburban C2500 (8 lug, 2WD). alldadadiy.com says to remove the axle nut (spec is 165 lbft) and four hub bolts (spec is 133 lbft) then use a puller to extract the integrated rotor and hub. Goes back in the same way. No mention of grease or seals or preload. The pictures show a drive axle going through the hub as in a 4WD 'burb. In another section, there's a procedure to set bearing preload which is similar to the procedure for a 126. Can anyone describe what I should expect?
Thanks,
Sixto
