Honda changed into Mercedes

A while back, some of you may have seen a post by some guy in Lorain, Ohio who was changing his 1995 Honda into a Mercedes. Well I saw it the other day and took some pics. Lots of work and many $$. He could of just bought a Benz. Good work but was it necessary? SMH

Terrible body lines! If they were willing to spend that much money on the bodywork the least they could have done is make sure the panel gaps were better than "grand canyon" status

Not sure if its worse than the SL500 Lebaron conversion. This one is actually done with Mustangs, but just as bad. Now, it's just cheaper to buy the real thing. You could probably purchase two real ones for the cost of one nice fake one.

If the Honda had done half the work that most of our MB's had done it would not.

I've thought in the last few years that the new Benzes look remarkably generic, like Hondas anyhow. What a waste of money and time.

Indeed. And treated as a JUNIOR part at that.

I worked for Freightliner (owned by DC) during that era, and we were treated like the hired help, not as part of the company.
