Gonna buy another 300D, opinions please

Used 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300 for Sale in Henrico VA 23294 The Car Man

It's one skinny owner with the maintenance log book with all the dealer stamps, interior is near perfect. this weekend I'm going to put up on the rack and check it out thoroughly. It's for my 17 yo Daughter for college that's just down the road

I figure it for about three weeks before you claim it as your own and pawn your heap on to her.

Baby girls have to learn the cold hard facts of life sometimes. If not from you, then who?

Not knowing your daughter, is she going to be able to remember to put Diesel in it every time ? Wait for the glow ?

Is there a place to plug it in where she might go ? (shouldnt be necessary, but the heat comes out quick when you do...)

She learned to drive in my 300d and my GMC1500 6.5L Diesel and helped me with my BioD cooks. It doesn't get that cold here in Virginia

Bad news for me, Mom queered the deal. It is most defiantly worth a look for the W124 lover's out there. I'm still trying to figure out how to get without ending my marital privileges.

Sonny drove the 240D to high school his last two years. 36 miles/day. I think it damaged him. He's 22 and never had a ticket. Still drives like your grandma.

My youngest drove my beloved 1995 300D until she totaled it. Totaled the car and she came through with no injury. And that's why I gave it to her -- a giant crumple zone for a new driver. But dang, I miss that car!

I envy you.

Did you at least get a sensible reason against it? What is not to like about a vehicle that is safe, economical, easy for DIY repairs, great styling, And a vehicle with 180K with a 30 day warranty.
