Another possible Relocation.. this time Binghamton NY

Interviewing with a company in Binghamton, NY area. Things are looking good, and we'll only be 3.5 hours from the grandkids, vice the 11 now. Hoping to meet up with some Forum people up in that area. Move would probably happen in August.

I had a friend who tried to plant a church in that area for about 10 years, so we visited him often. Its a great place, Chenago Valley State park is nice and close.

Tony, you all already live too far away. You can't move to NY. That would be even farther. I think the house next door is going on the market soon. I think you should find a job in DC and move in next door to me.

If you are used to property values in the DC area, you will be pleasantly surprised at the values in Binghampton.

Tom, no offense, but I'm not going anywhere near city life. Like this house I found in Maine, NY. 10 acres, with a barn and the two car garage. I get the barn!!! Tom, I should have time to get to another GTG.

PM me if you end up moving to Binghamton. I'm in Ithaca so it's inexcusable how close you are that we don't enjoy a few beers

Tony wherever you land, good luck and make sure the barn has room for car expansion...

Adam, sounds like a plan.
Mistress, thanks. If not the barn, there will be a shop installed. I did have that one condition before moving north.
