Scar 17 vs FN Fal...

So money is a bit tight and I can only get one long gun toy this year. I'll try to make up for it next, promise, I can feel an STG44 coming on.

Anyway should I get the totally modern, and ultra cool Scar 17 which from what I have been hearing is just about perfect, and the ultimate 21st century expression of what a battle rifle should be.

Or should I go with the battle rifle that helped shape the last half of the 20th century, the "right arm of the free world", which over 70 countries used and was represented in every conflict for the last 60 years...the FN FAL.

Damn you FN I already have an Fn49 which is amazing, why do they keep making such amazing rifles! I want them both buy sadly can only afford one! The Fal is classic but the Scar is modern and looks set to dominate the 21st century.

FAL for sure. In my opinion it's a much better looking gun, and certainly more intimidating.

Sadly I live in CT so I can't own this. Its just to amazingly cool for this state, it would make the Prius driving liberals wet their panties and spill their hippie coffee.

Sadly, cause I want one so badly.

The Canadian's can have them, wtf I have to pay like $10k and buy a house in another state to get one.

I have been trying to get that lower for years its like $2k, the front grip with the bipod is $300 on a good day.

I might just save up for the STG44, genesis.

The Germans were so far ahead, the STG44, MG42, and Browning Hi power, what futuristic and modern armaments.

Their enemy's must have been like WTF with their bolt action guns and revolvers.
