She can come over and ride my stationary bike anytime. I am even willing to bring her cold water.

Clueless chicks. The cop was hitting on her, and she took it seriously.

Looks like she is affiliated with the company. Must have been there for the show. Good way to get some "exposure" for the company.

Which explains why some readers in the article wondered if this was a guerilla marketing ploy. The Europeans are very good at doing this, she may not be as "clueless" as she appears...

Girls have been riding bikes when they have a dress on for 100 s of years.
This has to be a beat up.

I can remember back in my student days girls with skimpy loose fitting shorts & bikini tops peddling a way down the road.
I even dusted off the old 10 speed & started riding from the residence college to uni.
I was always polite & let them ride in front !!

That was the start of the idea of wanting to be reincarnated as a girls bike seat !!!!

NYC cops have been writing a lot more tickets to bike riders as of late with varying degrees of success. They seem to have many ideas on the subject, some of which are not supported by existing law.

This clip was making the rounds last week:

Funny vid. I thought bicycles were required to use the bike lane when one is provided (in my state), but an exhaustive search of the Nevada Revised Statutes turned up no such requirement.

Glad I don't live in NYC. If she attracts attention, the general female population must be as fugly as the women here in San Antonio.

Speaking of NYC traffic vids, check out this 3-Way Street video showing the activity on one NYC intersection.

They're all nuts!

Thanks! Yet another thing I learned in the OD. That's why non-political threads rock!

The last message: "NYC, ticket the people BLOCKING the bike lanes, not the bikers" is interesting. Notice the last scene showing the COP car blocking the bike lane.... He should give himself a ticket, but that's not in the business plan, is it?

Not sure about NYC, but while I was looking through the NRS, I found that it's illegal to block a bike lane unless you are a peace officer carrying out your official duties.
