Shocking! You say one of those Jackass fellows died prematurely? Absolutely shocking . . .

The Chester County coroner listed blunt force trauma and thermal trauma as the official causes of death for both men. Toxicology results will take four to six weeks to complete, coroner's office spokeswoman Patty Emmons said.

A preliminary examination of the crash site suggested Dunn's Porsche may have been travelling more than 100mph (160kph) in the 55mph zone when it jumped a guard rail, flew into a wooded ravine, struck a tree and burst into flames.

They've determined he was going approximately 130mph. Its huge news in my area, he (and all the other guys) were all local. I think that speed is definitely maintainable on that stretch of road (note I am NOT saying safe by any means), its got soft curves but nothing that would frazzle a GT3. My guess is he either lost control from being drunk (won't know for a while, reportedly he wasn't very intoxicated) or my personal fear - a deer dashes in front and there's no good outcome no matter what. Poor families

Sad that someone has died.

Porsche's should only be driven on the track at high rates of speed. At least there when the ass end tries to go first around a corner its a bit safer.

Dumbass took himself out of the gene pool before he could reproduce. What more can you ask for?

What's shocking is that one of them hasn't died before now. They've been going on like this for 10+ years.

They sure know how to treat cars well. Bam Margera (SP) thought his Lambo needed a sunroof; here's the fantastic results.

That is an oversimplification of inertia. Any car can oversteer. I had a Porsche Turbo which everybody said was a dangerous car. BS. At the track (with real high speed turns) I saw guys in Corvettes spin far more than the 911 guys. If you drive stupid, it doesn't matter what car you are in.
