Or how about this:
This weekend a friend of mine and I were to make the 2 hour drive to my home town so I could repair a friends truck.... I decide I don't want to drive my car because of a bad tie-rod end, so I start searching for an alternate ride. My friends new girl drives a Lexus. While searching for a ride I conciser asking him to ask her to come along just to get a ride............. then I come to my senses. I made the LOGICAL choice. Uninvite the friend with the Lexus girlfriend (shes anoying anyhow) and borrow a 240D drive 3 hours (not 2) in the mountains with a failing half shaft that makes a banging sound on every corner. Every time the car slows to 25 on a hill and the axle starts banging, rub the steering wheel and tell the car "I'd rather die in you then ride in that Lexus."
