My kidney dr. started me on Marinol 2.5 mg capsules for my appetite. I think this might be better than smoking it plus now my insurance can pay for it.:cool:

looked into this a couple years ago along with dronabinol

so what does a 2.5 capsule do ??

is marinol treated like a normal script ??

Well CVS filled it like a normal script and insurance paid for it. I actually have dronabinol it's the generic of Marinol. I just took my first one so check back in an hour or so.

Do you get the munchies afterwards?

One per day to start but i may have wasted this first one by taking it while hooked up to the dialysis machine. Some drugs get filtered out some don't so we'll see.Don't know what the true cost is; my drug co-pzy was $1.10 for thirty.

This is fascinating. Can you update us with effects positive and negative, etc. please? Purely academic interest I assure you, never really liked the mota myself, although I spent quite a few years trying to get to know it better. :)

I used the tried and try method of cannabinoid ingestion for my chemo.

I had to take 4 of them to feel anything plus it took about an hour to kick in but it was very mellow, similar to edible weed like a brownie.
