I think a good list overall. I think the Honda should include the Civic and maybe Prelude. TheCherokee should also include the Comanche. Same basic vehicle in truck form. Some of the VW diesels from the early 80's are also running around. Possibly some of the Saabs. I think they are almost up there with Volvos. Also, they should add the MB 240D.

I knew that the Volvo 240 would be on the list.

I'm glad they didnt perpetuate the Subaru/Lesbian association. I am tired of my wife getting hit on when she goes to Trader Joe's =)

(just kidding, I commute in the Subie, and Lesbians never hit on me....)

True on the Saabs. I think they were much more fun to drive than the Volvos. My dad's '86 900 went for 450,000 miles on the original clutch. Almost no repairs made over the life of that car.

Not exactly the same but I once owned an Audi 100LS which refused to live! Despite the copious amounts of money, sweat and tears I poured into the vicious beast!

Whereas mine burnt up the trans output bearing at 120k miles. Turbo wasn't kind to the transmission, which was designed for 100 hp, not ~175.
